Loved the book. It was good to finally see the whole history, even if cut short (I mean it's only 600 pages and 300 years of history) and be able to see how choices of one tsar changed fates of his descendants and still echo in current modern Russia. Good place to start for those new to the topic and those who already know it. With 20 sovereigns you're bound to learn something new
