I stumbled accross this book in my local bookstore when looking for something to help me understand what might be going on with my digestion. I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which can be triggered by leaky gut and gut dysbiosis. The book was really well written and explained all of the science behind the micro biome in a really easy, informative way to understand. There are some foods included in the plan that I can no longer eat due to intolerances. However, I will certainly be continuing with the underlying principles of the plan, for life. These include fasting between meals (three meals a day), having fruit or bitter leaves before or after meals to aid digestion, fasting for 12 hours between dinner and breakfast and chewing my food more carefully. I would recommend this book to everyone and not just those with digestive issues. With the modern day diet the way it is everyone can benefit from a little gut help. Your micro biome will thank you for it!
