Amazing book and series
This book is absolutely beautiful. Despite the overall clothbound appearance of the book, which initially attracted me to this addition, I have found out their are many more attributes. Firstly the paper used is good quality, soft and doesn't feel thin to touch meaning I am not worried about the pages tearing. I also love how the original drawings have been used throughout although there is many other talented artists who have re-invisioned the iconic scenes within Alice in wonderland, the classic drawings have always been my favourite - also it makes sense seeing at this is part of the 'clothbound classics' series. Although my review is solely on this book I have however seen all the other books at local bookstores and believe them to be to the same quality and standards of this book. Although many will believe £10 expensive for a book this is an amazing price compared to high street stores, also I believe it is worth it due to the durability and if you are a book collector or love a certain book I believe you should purchase from this series based on beauty alone, as you already know the content is brilliant. Many may also forget or not realise that this is both Alice in wonderland books together in one copy which is very convenient and shows overall this is not too expensive. I also have always been a hardback book fan if I can't get a book in hardback I am always disheartened as they will last much longer and do not become easily damaged one thing I like about the use of cloth is the texture added to the book and also many hardbacks used paper slips however I dislike these as the eventually become torn and tatty although they initially looked lovely.
