The events of Throne of Atlantis have made deep impacts on the world, both above the sea, and below it. The only being that belongs to both worlds, Aquaman, desperately tries to unify the sea and the land, but faces distrust on either side.
However, there are greater threats to the Kingdom of Atlantis than even its new King, Arthur Curry, realises. The exiled colony of Xebel has formed an alliance with a long forgotten character from Atlantis' ancient history, one who explains the origins of Atlantis, and answers a great deal more questions. However, old though he may be, he poses quite a significant threat to the Seven Seas and beyond.
The final chapter in the run of Geoff Johns as writer of Aquaman rounds out with a flourish, and the artwork of Pelletier is, again, superb.
