Good for drawing / a little bit of watercolor
It was my second purchase of moleskine journal - first was watercolor sketchbook. First of all the quality of moleskine journals is satisfactory - it's well-made. Compared to watercolor sketchbook, this one absorbs less water but I found I can still use a bit of water on it. Little bit of water wouldn't let it shrink. The surface is much softer than the watercolor sketchbook so it's a lot better when I draw with pens (especially fine ones). I also used Hahnemuhle travel journal and each has own pros and cons. Hahnemuhle is kind of rough so dry medium fits it well. Moleskine on the other hand has even surface and better for ink drawings I guess. Both accept little bit of watercolor.
