The Best Brand in Sketchbooks
This is a solid watercolor sketchbook. I'm a professional illustrator and have tried many different aqueous media pads over the years but the moleskin brand always stand above the rest. The paper is thick and can be worked over quite a bit; it will warp since there's nothing to secure the edges but the wrinkling will lessen over time when the book is closed with the elastic in place. Filling a whole book is always very satisfying, especially with the beautiful archival quality moleskin pages have.
One thing to note however is that you can't bend the front cover completely back when using it (unless your okay with damaging the binding) so painting and drawing on-location can be a bit tricky if you have a lot of different media to juggle. If that little setback doesn't bother you though then you're going to love your new sketchbook.
