I was so excited about this book when I first stumbled across it, finally an interesting story line that isn't your typical YA novel battling a sensitive and unusual issue. I thoroughly enjoyed this book in this beginning, but after a few chapters it does get rather repetitive. For like 3 continuous chapters it's just the main character saying how she doesn't want to go outside etc, which eventually became very boring to read as there was no development in the narrative for a long time and I found myself skipping pages until I reached something different, but then it would go back to the same thing. I must confess, I still haven't finished this book, and I do intend to finish it one day, but I put it down nearly a year ago and still haven't picked it back up and this is purely down to the slow development of the story. I'm sure this story is someone else's cup of tea, I just take my tea with a few more cubes of sugar!
