His other books include Anansi Boys, Neverwhere, American Gods, and Stardust, (winner of the American Library Association's Alex Award as one of 2000's top novels for young adults) as well as the short story collections M Is for Magic and Smoke and Mirrors. He is also the author of The Wolves in the Walls and The Day I Traded My Dad for Two Goldfish, both written for children. When not drawing or painting, Mike swears he can be found "wandering through the desert kicking coyotes" and "watching the sun rise in the west."
Malcolm Jones III attended the High School of Art and Design and the Pratt Institute in New York City before making his comics debut in the pages of DC Comics' Young All-Stars. In addition to his celebrated work on The Sandman, he contributed his artistic talents to many other titles for both DC and Marvel Comics.
"New York Times"-bestselling author Gaiman's transcendent series, Sandman, offers an unforgettable tale of the forces that exist beyond life and death by weaving ancient mythology, folklore, and fairy tales with his own distinct narrative vision.
Morpheus made the ultimate decision between change and death. As one journey for the Endless ends another begins for the "Lord of Dreams" and his family. All the final pieces come together for the final moments of the Sandman.
Reveals the legend of the Endless, a family of magical and mythical beings who exist and interact in the real world. This title boasts diverse styles of art. It features seven peculiar and powerful siblings each of whom reveal more about their true being as they star in their own tales of curiosity and wonder.
The third Sandman collection is a series of four short comic book stories. In each of these otherwise unrelated stories, Morpheus serves only as a minor character. One of these stories won the World Fantasy Award for best short story, the first time a comic book was given that honor.
