For anyone with even a passing interest in Tremors this is an essential read. Being a fan book written by a journalist, it's a highly readable insight into virtually everything related to the Tremors movie, the sequels and the TV series. This, the first book written on the Tremors franchise, is so well done that there's no need for another. It really has it all and I'd go so far as to say, for anyone who fancies writing a similar book on a film or TV series they hold in high regard, this is the example that should be followed. Packed with new interviews, detail and trivia, the writing never gets stuffy or slow and it's a treat from start to finish.
I'm not alone in my recommendation. Take a look around the Net and you'll see that originators Brent Maddock and S.S. Wilson are big fans of it as well, as is director of the first film Ron Underwood. Even Kevin Bacon broke his long silence on the subject to speak to the author. In fact, the whole Tremors community involved in the various productions appears to have untied behind the project. If only more genre books were like this.
