I think this story is really, really good. It also has been written in a magnificent way: it has been a little rough for me going through all these terms without a vocabulary. I am italian guys!
But at the end I found asking myself "What have I actually read? Is something actually happened in the story?" The answer is: not quite.
I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE STARTING AND THE ENDING of this book but I found myself lost in the middle quite sometimes. And I am so sorry for this but it was like if there were a bunch of words in order to reach the real story: THE SECOND BOOK! (When is that out?)
Without any spoilers...
I loved the dream and the muse of nightmares but sometimes I just lost myself in those dreams.
In addition I am not really a fan of the third person POW. It is so confusing sometimes.
And there are a huge amount of names in this book. I know I won't remember any of them when the sequel is gonna be release I hope someone will write a guide about that LOL
What I really loved was LAZLO!!!
If you haven't noticed in my reading updates... I FREAKING LOVE LAZLO!
Point 1. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE NAME!
Point 2. He is a freaking adorable nerd. He is quite any bookworm version. You cant not love HIM!
Lazlo is a dream come true for every bookworms: we constantly read about those magicians, hobbits or people with some kind of powers going on adventure. It is so fresh reading about a bookworm who has the chance of being the MC in a fantasy book!
Plus I really love the blueness in this book both on the cover and in the story
