  READ. THIS. BOOK. (PLEASE?)

  The Kiss Quotient is the perfect blend of sweet and steamy. is so deserving of every ounce of hype it has received thus far. I am not sure I’ve ever been so happy, and had such a lame grin on my face, while reading any other book. This was heartwarming, beautiful, and a treat to read and let me be clear: this is isn’t YA, so be aware that there will be a lot of graphic sex scenes, talking dirty and occasionally swearing.

  Throughout the entire book I’ve realised that the author does an amazing job of building up this intense type of chemistry between the two characters, Stella and Micheal. She knows exactly how to tease us and leave us wanting more. Additionally it was a relief to read a book where sex is actually sexy and not just a form of manipulation used by characters to gain something. Also, the importance of consent is always at the forefront of this novel

  Synopsis: This is an ownvoices novel about a high-functioning autistic woman who has succeeded in every aspect of her life, except for love, which leads her to seek lessons on how to be good at sex and relationships by an escort named Micheal.

  Michael is mixed race - Vietnamese and Swedish - and did I mention he’s REALLY FUCKING HOT!.

  But besides the steamy sex, the beautiful romance, and the lovely messages that are inside this book, my favorite part is that this book never shames Michael for being an escort, and it sure as hell doesn’t shame Stella for being on the autism spectrum. I never expect a fiction book to teach me anything, but this book gave me such a wonderful glimpse and perspective into some people’s autism. From overstimulation with lights, sounds, and smells, to the preferred clothing, to focusing everything into one thing, to the importance of schedules, lists, and reminders! This book was really insightful, and I loved that about it.

  Surprisingly good

  Everything about this book suggested that I really shouldn't start reading it. I really couldn't see that this would be my kind of book at all.

  So many people fail to understand Autism and how it can affect somebody's day to day life, including professional and personal relationships.

  The way that this book is written is so descriptive and very gripping, yet steering clear of being likened to a '50 shades' copy.

  This book deals with physical and mental emotions, along with very well described passion, without taking things too far.

  I most definitely wasn't expecting to be as drawn in as I was, and I am definitely very interested to see how things pan out for Stella and Michael.

  I would most certainly recommend this book.

  Raunchy as hell!!

  My god! This book is a more delicately put Jackie Collins novel. Soooooo sexy, naughty, raunchy and erotic, I loved every bit of it! I love the characters, Helen has captured the highs and lows of autism well, even the feelings of others who don’t suffer from it, and their reactions to people who do. Stella and Michael are perfect for each other but just need to go through the rollercoaster of emotions to realise that. A fabulous story line, with the right amount of sadness tingeing the edges. The sex scenes were incredibly written and Helen has described it so well that at times you felt you were experiencing every encounter! Christ Helen Hoang is a definite rival for any 50 shades of grey lovers out there!!

  Loved it

  This is a truly fantastic #ownvoices novel about Stella, who has Asperger's Syndrome. As the author herself also has Asperger's Syndrome, the novel reads really authentically and right from the start I found myself rooting for Stella (and later, Michael) as she navigates this new chapter of her life.

  This book is laugh out loud funny paired with moments of poignant sadness and it was the perfect read to lift my spirits.

  I must warn you that there is a LOT of adult content, Micheal is an escort, after all, but it's very well written (no cringey 50 shades scenes here) and it deals with the topic of consent very well.

  Warning, its steamy

  I absolutely loved this book.

  It follows Stella, a woman with Aspergers, as she tries to learn how to be good at dating and sex....by hiring an escort.

  Michael is the selected escort, but when they meet their connection is genuine. However, because of issues in both their lives, neither believe that the other can be genuinely interested.

  Both main characters are really well written and believable, and the bedroom scenes are extremely well written, but not for those of a sensitive or easily offended disposition. There may be comparisons with the shades of grey books, but I found these much better written and more believable.

  The plot is slightly predictable in places, but because I liked the characters I did not mind that, and read the book quickly.

  I'd certainly recommend this book and author.
